As the saying goes "boys will be boys" I had my work cut out for me with these little guys for sure! So stinkin cute and I had fun chasing them around. Mom mentioned that the oldest boy doesn't really smile for pictures but I think our goofiness did him in and we did get some smiles out of that boy!

What a little doll! Look at these eyes. Typically at this age they are full of smiles and at home she does just that. Not this day though. She just looked at us like we were crazy. Which I guess I probably looked crazy trying to get her to smile so I don't blame her. Doesn't matter though she is one gorgeous baby and I love to photograph babies at this stage.

This was one of those sessions that surprised me after I got to edit them. This is a hard age and you forget how curious the little ones are at this age and that they want to just roam.. not sit, not hold Mom and Dad's hand but be independent and just explore. So I was a little nervous thinking that we didn't get much b/c he just wasn't having it. But,, I was pleasantly surprised with all that we did get. Love this family and love the little smooches the little man is giving Mama on the head! We had to go with him on the shoulders b/c there was no way he was going to sit when he could be exploring.... Enjoy~

I've been lucky to photograph this family the last 3 years and each time the weather has been quite yucky for them. Super cold, dark ugly skies.While it was not the ideal day for portraits the kids hung in there so well with their freezing hands so that we could get a few good shots. Thanks again gang!

Changes are a coming! New logo, updated site/blog. Can't wait! I'm changing my blog posts to be collaged like this in order to save time and for the blog photos to download quicker.

It's starting to sink it that fall and yucky weather is just around the corner. I know this when my senior sessions start running into the threat of bad weather. We had strong winds to battle and some dark clouds but still had fun and got alot of great shots despite her hair blowing everywhere.

Senior portraits...keep em coming! I'm having a blast with my seniors this year. I'm working hard at keeping the blog updated with everyones sneak peaks. Because the full sessions take so long to edit and I hate to keep them waiting, I promise them all a peak on my blog... so yes, I'm falling behind and will do my best to keep posting..so seniors keep checking in for yours.
~If you look closely, I really think this gal resembles a young Meg Ryan. The sparkly eyes and that super cute grin!
