portraits of your older kiddos..

I just had a thought as I was going through these photos and thinking how much I loved photographing this age. My thought was "wow, I never get kids this age. It's always babies and kids up to about 5 or 6 yrs. " As I look through the websites of photographers I admire I don't see many pictures at this age. Why is that? Why aren't parents getting portraits done of their pre-teens? At this age they are so full of personality. (well maybe to full of a personality that parents don't want to document.. they just want it over!) Anyhoo..I was just thinking about that and would like to say I LOVE to capture this age. So parents.. don't forget that these times are so worth documenting and preserving this time in their lives just as much as the toddler years are.
Know anyone with tweens... send them my way!

My little T-ball player

How stinkin cute he is~ So fun to have the kids starting sports! The t-ball is a crack up. They all run to see who can get the ball first, collide into each other and fall to the ground.

Mike and Corrine..here's your sneak peak

I have to start this by showing this photo of "O" in dad's hands when we did her photos. Here she is now at 2 yrs! How beautiful is she!! So now she is a big sis and here are some from the shoot today. I hope you two are pleasantly surprised.. as much as she did fuss, I think there are quite a few great shots for you to choose from. It was great to see you guys again and I will let you know as soon as the rest are done! I'm sure baby "G" slept well after she left me. A couple of these have some texture added to the photo.
