Class of 2009

Senior portraits are in full swing. I love this time b/c it's something a little different then little kiddos. Don't get me wrong I LOVE photographing little ones more than anything but photographing older kids is very fun and rewarding as well. Different locations, fun poses..basically young models right before you to have fun with.

Beautiful Wedding

(Click photo to enlarge) What an amazing day! I had such a blast and what a wonderful bride, groom, wedding party and family. Everyone was so relaxed and had such fun! As you can see the colors are so bright and fun and just went so well with the feel of the whole day.
The groom's family came all the way from Holland! They had every guest up dancing at the reception to one of their traditional songs/polka dance..hmm I'm not sure what to call it but it was SO fun that they did it again. I could hardly take photos at that point b/c I was laughing so hard and couldn't help but to dance along to the tune.
Thanks so much Brianna and Erik for having me. It was truly a great experience.
Also a big huge thanks to my 2nd shooter Levi Lundy w/Maverick studios for helping. He took all the shots of the guys and worked so hard all day to help capture all the special moments.

Adorable family!

This was such a great fun session! Look at how cute little Edan is. He was the best 18mos. old!! So relaxed and just went with the flow. I can same the same about mom and dad so thanks you two. It really does make for a great session when everyone is as relaxed as possible and having fun. That is my goal for every session. I got a ton a great shots and not one peep out of him about the whole deal. Finally... when I myself was done he peeped up a little just to let us know that it was time to go home. What a lovely family!

Meet little Miss Mackenzie modeling for her 9 month old photos... notice her little sassy shirt. To cute! She was on the move the whole time crawling away but I love it when they stop just for that split second to see what's going on (or probably wondering why everyone is acting so silly and the camera lady is blowing the horn.)
but they stop just long enough to capture a sweet expression. Hope you enjoy your sneak peak guys..

Introducing the fabulous ladies, Jill and Kathi of Topping the Cake... I'm in the works of putting their brochures together but I wanted to put the word out there for them since they are just starting out. Take a look at some of their fab cakes. They did a bday cake for me and it was YUMMO! So moist and the fresh berry puree in the middle was so fresh tasting. Top it off with a mascarpone cream cheese frosting..mmmmm.
