Maternity Portraits

What a stunning Mama! Or whole family I should say. I had the pleasure of working with Nichole Haverland, a photographer here in Bend, Oregon for her maternity portraits. She is so super cute and love her unique style.
Added some texture to the background for something different. Such a fun session!

So...I've been busy with updating my site a bit, putting together new fun client bags with goodies and getting some more displays up around town (if you are a client at Bend OBGYN, my work is now displayed in the rooms there)
2009 will bring more options for clients, monthly drawings and referral incentives.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all! I hope this year brings each of you much happiness, good health and success. This is the time of year for me to take a few weeks off from my busy season and re structure my website/blog etc. so that I can offer my clients more! I'm excited for 2009 and even though I need this time off, I can't wait to start photographing again. I'm SO thankful for the opportunity to do what I do. I cannot thank my clients enough for allowing me the time with their families to document this time in their lives. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING KIDS SO MUCH! The innocence, the goofiness, the curiosity, the stubborness and more that children display is just so amazing to capture.

This year will bring lots of fun stuff.....contests, referral programs, giveaways
and more so you don't want to miss it. My site will be updated within the month so be sure to check in!!

I leave you with some of my beautiful sets of eyes that I have been lucky enough to photograph. Sorry if your kiddo isn't on here. I would love to post them all but that is just not possible. These are just some of the eyes that draw me in. One of the main things I look for when photographing is the expressions in the eyes. It's funny when I'm out and about and see a child with eyes that draw me in I think "ohhh, I want to photograph that kid" So you never know.. I may just have a model search contest for the best eyes!

Some quick photos of my kiddos to send to the Grandparents for xmas. My plan was to have a family photo shoot but you know how that goes... busy, busy. So this year I'm going to send out fun little Happy New Year cards.

3rd time is a charm!

3rd time is a charm because we have had to cancel the session 2 other times due to weather. So I was so happy to finally meet this super sweet family and photograph little Miss Kadee who is such a doll. She didn't make it through our 2nd location but she was a perfect little model in the beginning and so these are some the super cute photos she allowed me to take of her...

Meet The Karr Family

What a fun and beautiful family! I had a great time with this family. They really were relaxed and knew what kind of portraits they wanted so they weren't afraid to just have fun and show the love and connection that they all share.
Took while for Mr. serious big bro to show that great smile of his so I love the one of him in mom's legs and the expression on his face.

Looking forward to photographing a senior today so stay tuned for that.

More Class of 2009

Meet Raquel. Great style, gorgeous eyes, beautiful smile, fun personality! She took the time before hand to go around town and pick each spot that she wanted to go to which I love b/c it shows her personality and it ends up being about her and not about what I want to do. Some of my favorite places!
I do have to say the slide was my idea and this is one of my all time fav shots of a senior! Love the way the slide frames her, beautiful light, a beautiful serious look on her face yet the slide is innocent and playful. LOVE IT.
